What awaits you?
- You provide our customers with technical advice and sell our innovative systems
- You will look after our existing customers, acquire new customers and build valuable business contacts at home and abroad
- You represent our company at trade fairs and conferences in the wood industry and expand our network
- You will be responsible for planning and implementing marketing campaigns, including designing advertisements and writing technical reports
What should you bring with you?
- You have completed a degree in the field of wood industry, mechanical engineering, are a certified technician or have professional experience in the wood industry (m/f/x)
- You have experience in field service and sales, ideally you come from the wood processing industry
- You are passionate about traveling and have convincing direct sales conversations with customers
- You speak fluent German and have very good English skills

Area of responsibility:
- Development and design of innovative solutions in the field of wood processing and machining
- Design of technical drawings, models and construction plans with CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Conducting feasibility studies and technical analyses
- Collaboration with customers, suppliers and internal departments in the implementation of projects
- Support in the further development of existing products and processes
- Quality assurance and documentation of development processes
Requirements:
- Completed training as a wood technician, wood engineer or a complete qualification in the technical field
- Strong knowledge and experience in CAD design, ideally with AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Enthusiasm for innovative technologies and solutions in the wood sector
- Independent and structured way of working as well as a high degree of accuracy and quality awareness
- Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
- Experience in the wood industry or wood processing is an advantage

We are looking for you
Are you curious, a team player and would you like to help us offer new technological solutions for our customers? Then you’re right at SCANTEC! Apply as a working student or intern and gain practical experience in sales and technology!
What are your tasks
- Supporting the sales team in acquiring new customers and supporting existing customers
- Research of potential customers and market analyses
- Participation in sales meetings and customer appointments
- Creating offers and contract documents
- Maintaining customer relationships
- Contributing to the development of sales strategies and concepts
What we expect from you
- Ongoing studies in business administration, economics, sales management or a similar field
- Interest in sales and dealing with customers
- Strong communication skills and persuasiveness
- Independent and goal-oriented way of working
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Experience in sales or customer contact is an advantage
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
